Bumps in the Road

As I was up holding my little guy's head all night last night as he was getting sick, my thoughts were with little Danny. I never knew Danny, only saw Donann's great layouts of him, and then the story of his tragic illness. His story has changed me as a person, and a mother, forever. I will never again be quick to feel sorry for myself for lost sleep when dealing with inevitable childhood illnesses & dramas, but be thankful that they are, in the bigger picture, just bumps in the road.
